PM Modi arrives in Gujarat for two-day visit, holds grand roadshow in Vadodara

 Minister Narendra Modi commenced his two-day visit to Gujarat on Monday with a vibrant roadshow in Vadodara, marking the beginning of a packed itinerary across multiple cities. The visit includes key public engagements and the inauguration of developmental projects worth ₹82,950 crore.

PM Modi landed at Vadodara airport around 10 am on Monday to a rousing reception from party workers, local leaders, and enthusiastic citizens waving flags and chanting slogans. He then led a 1-kilometer roadshow from the airport to the Airforce station, greeted by massive crowds lining the route, showering flowers, and waving Indian flags.

Supporters lined the roads in large numbers, turning the event into a festive display of local admiration and anticipation. The Prime Minister waved to the public throughout the roadshow, acknowledging the overwhelming enthusiasm.

According to an official release, PM Modi is set to participate in several high-profile public programs across Dahod, Bhuj, and Gandhinagar over the course of the visit. A major highlight of the tour is the inauguration of multiple infrastructure and welfare projects totaling ₹82,950 crore, a significant investment aimed at boosting Gujarat's development across sectors including railways, water resources, urban development, and energy.

This visit comes ahead of key political and administrative timelines and is seen as a push to highlight the government’s commitment to grassroots development and infrastructural modernization in the state.

The Prime Minister’s presence and the scale of the events are also seen as a message of continuity in governance and vision, especially as Gujarat remains a key political and economic hub.
